Indoor, Beach, Intense, and Street Ultimate
Indoor Ultimate is sometimes played in a indoor soccer field. The outermost goal box line are used as end zones. Playing off the wall or ceilings are usually not permitted. Since the venue is smaller, the teams tend to be smaller. From the normal 6 on 6 to 4on 4 or 5 on 5.
Beach Ultimate is a variant of this activity. As the name implies, it is played at a beach on small fields. Players play barefooted.
Intense Ultimate is a version of a regular Ultimate but on a smaller field with six to twelve players.
Street Ultimate a.k.a. Street Style is a less formal form of Ultimate. It is usually carried out similar to a pick up game and no set of player limit.

Ultimate Frisbee
Ultimate Frisbee or Ultimate is a limited contact played with a 175 or 180 gram Frisbee disk. The purpose of the game is to score point by passing the disk to a player to the opposing end zone, similar to football or rugby.
